If remote participants hear the voice of the person who is speaking into the Owl repeated with a delay after they speak, this could be an echo or reverb. Try the following to resolve this issue.
- Have each remote participant mute their microphones one at a time. Does the echo go away when one person is muted?
- If yes, it means that their echo canceller isn’t working, have them disconnect and reconnect to the video conference call.
- If problem persists, have that remote participant put on headphones for your conference call.
- If no, it is possible that sound is echoing off hard surfaces in the room with the Owl. Take your Owl to a room without many hard surfaces, such as a room with carpets, couches, drop ceilings, or furniture. If problem is resolved, try using audio dampening acoustic panels on the walls of the original room.
